Drain Protection

• Drain Warden: Assists in reducing the risk of hydrocarbons entering the stormwater system from surface run-off. The drain warden is made from polypropylene and is available in three sizes to fit commonly encountered drain dimensions. It is held in position by the stormwater pit grate. Hydrocarbons present in surface run-off are absorbed by a hydrophobic bilge rat whilst water is permitted to pass through.


• Drain Cover: Assists in reducing the risk of chemicals entering the stormwater system. The cover is placed over the drain once it is known a spill has occurred. Covers are available in different sizes and materials.
